Apotheosis thrives because of the shared efforts of our community. To support a smooth and immersive experience for everyone, all players are required to complete a minimum of two hours of volunteer time per event.
Use the back of your Character Sheet to log any and all hours that you work. This includes
• Number of hours
• Tier Level
• Role performed (e.g., Kitchen, Monster, Merchant)
• Merchant and Entertainment hours
• Full Time Staff Signature
For example:
o Kitchen Shift, 2 hours, Tier 1, AKD
Before leaving the event, submit your character sheet to the Reagent Bin located in the Tavern.
Forgot to turn it in? Take a clear photo and email it to: Legyndsaop@gmail.com within one week of the event.
Guidelines for Volunteer Shifts
Pre Sign-up for your volunteer shift—first come, first served. Not signing up for a shift puts a strain on your pears who do their volunteer time, detracts from player experiences and thins out staff to compensate. Signing up ahead of time helps us prepare. If we know who is working when and where.
• Arrive on time for your shift and bring your character sheet.
• When volunteering, you will not be playing your character. During your volunteer time your character is considered “off screen”.
• Upon completion, have your character sheet signed off by staff.
Steward Points are paid out per hour of volunteer time, determined by tier. Failure to show up for a scheduled shift without prior communication with staff means not receiving the steward Points for your shift.
Additional Volunteer Shifts
Sometimes players may elect to volunteer for more time beyond their required 2 hours. These additional shifts do not replace or substitute your original prearranged volunteer obligation.
Emergency Grace Clause
If you experience an emergency requiring you to leave site or miss your shift, inform staff as soon as possible.
